The Common Denominator of Success
About 30 years ago I heard the wisdom of the "Common Denominator of Success." I never knew who actually wrote it until two weeks ago, when I heard it again as if it were the first time. The Common Denominator of Success, aka the secret of success, was written by Albert E. N. Gray in the 1940s. The wisdom of Gray's words still ring as true today as they have over the past six decades since he wrote them. I suggest you memorize it. Write it on an index card and keep it with you, oh yes, and read it every day.
The common denominator of success---the secret of every man or woman who has ever been successful ---lies in the fact that they formed the habit of doing things that failures don't like to do.
