Birds of a Feather Flock Together
I have something very important for you to tell your children for 2021. This is only one of many things they need to learn, and this one is often overlooked or undervalued.
Birds of a feather flock together. Seriously, they do. If you want to achieve in life you must flock with achievers, even if it is scary at first. You need to be around people who have goals and dreams and who actively pursue them.
Too often some people, while good people, are still going nowhere. They don't have goals or the desire needed to achieve. Seems harsh? It's not, really. Not if you have dreams.
You must understand that time, and life, are limited. This life, your life, is not a dress rehearsal; there are no instant replays, no do-overs. So you need to be around people who will encourage you, and you them; push you, and you them; support you, (and I don't mean call Dad for a check), and you them. And when you are down, they will extend a hand and help you to get up.
Think about this: When you work to achieve what you want, you inspire others to do the same.
You may have heard the old bird adage, "You can't soar with the eagles if you hang out with turkeys." Find a flock that will help you soar. That is why you are here. This is your true destiny. Soar, little eagles, soar!
Find A Way
