I Can't
Most successful people will tell you success it isn't about saying, "I can't." It is more often than not a matter of will you or won't you take action. Thinking "I can't" is self-defeating. When you admit that you won't, at least you acknowledge something. Once you acknowledge, "you won't" you're in control and empowered to take action.. Now you give yourself the permission to ask WHY? You can work with why.
When you say, "I am afraid to take risk"; "I don't know how" or "I am afraid" (It's okay to admit). Once you know what you're dealing with you can then find the "I can." You can begin to Find A Way.
Substitute I won't for I can't:
I won't make that call
I won't ask for....
I won't take a risk
I won't work harder to live the life I want
I won't plan
I won't set goals
I won't think
I won't exercise
I won't eat healthy
I won't read
I won't learn
I won't forgive and forget
I won't move on
Okay, ...I'll stop...I was scaring myself anyway. I think you get the picture.
You may not like to say "I won't." It's easier to say, "I can't." But less empowering, and thought provoking
Here is a quotation I often read to myself and now I get to use it.
We lie loudest when we lie to ourselves
~Eric Hoffer
Ouch...
Free yourself from the Mental Prison of "I can't." Say "I won't" and if you are okay with that so be it. Just remember you have the keys. Better yet, say I can, I will, I will Find A Way.
If you think you can't I encourage you to log on to any one, all three, of these websites and then tell me or yourself you can't. Go ahead
